Raffi is a singer, songwriter, producer, author, lecturer, and tireless advocate for children. He is best known for his work as a children’s entertainer and advocate whose string of gold and platinum-selling recordings includes his iconic song, “Baby Beluga.” Once called “the most popular children’s singer in the English-speaking world” (Washington Post) and “Canada’s all-time children’s champion” (Toronto Star), Raffi is also a recipient of the Order of Canada and the United Nations’ Earth Achievement Award. He has published three books for adults and holds four honorary degrees. Together with science educator Suzanne Lyons, Raffi also created a cooperative Baby Beluga Game for children ages 3 and up. In 2010, Raffi founded his non-profit Raffi Foundation for Child Honouring. With the motto “Respecting Earth & Child,” the Foundation is at the heart of a global movement that views honouring children as the best way to create sustainable, peacemaking societies.

Ticket Information
Tickets are available for purchase online, by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787), or at the PPAC Box Office located at 220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence. Box Office Hours are M-F, 10A–5P; Sat 10A-2P. Summer hours are M-Th 10A-3P. The VETS on-site Box Office is only open on show days. Children under the age of six are not permitted to attend performances unless it is designated as a family show. Please call the Box Office at (401) 421-2787 to see which shows are appropriate for younger children. All persons regardless of age are required to have a ticket for family shows.
