Mobile Ticketing How-To-Guide
The VETS offers mobile ticketing as a convenient, contactless, and secure option for guests attending events. Mobile ticketing allows guests instant access to their tickets, the ability to safely store their tickets on their mobile devices, and quick and easy entry using our state-of-the-art ticket scanning system.
When opting for mobile delivery, make sure to download your tickets to your mobile device before arriving at the theatre for efficient entry.
There are two ways to download your mobile tickets: through the Mobile Tickets email you received after purchasing, or from the My Account ticket page. These instructions will allow you to access your tickets from your mobile device (mobile tickets cannot be accessed from desktop computers).
Mobile Tickets email
- After you purchase your tickets you will receive two emails from tickets@ppacri.org with the subjects Thank you for your ticket order! and Your Mobile Tickets have arrived! One is your order confirmation for your records, and the other is to access your mobile tickets (Please note that PPAC and The VETS are the only authorized ticket sellers for events at The VETS. Your tickets will only come from the email tickets@ppacri.org).
- When you open the email Your Mobile Tickets have arrived! from your mobile device, you will see Your Mobile Tickets are ready to download! You will also see instructions to Click here for your tickets with a link to your event name.
- You will be directed to a page with the buttons Add to Wallet (Apple or Google). You MUST add each ticket to your mobile wallet to access all tickets on event day.
Always save your confirmation email until you have scanned your mobile tickets on event day.
My Account ticket page
- From The VETS website (thevetsri.com) click Menu in the top right corner. Scroll down and click My Account. From there you will be prompted to log in to your ticket account. You must create an account before you can log in. You can also access My Account below.
- Once logged in, you will see My Upcoming Events. Click the event title or ticket image for the event you want to access.
- You will be directed to a page with the buttons Add to Wallet (Apple or Google). You MUST add each ticket to your mobile wallet to access all tickets on event day.
On event day you will use your mobile device to enter the theatre. To scan multiple tickets, swipe your screen to access them.

Who do I contact if I need assistance?
The VETS Box Office will be happy to assist you with any questions. They are available Monday-Friday 10am - 5pm; Saturday 10am - 2pm. And two hours before curtain on event days. Please call 401.421.2787 or email box_office_questions@ppacri.org.
I purchased tickets for The VETS. Why did my confirmation email come from tickets@ppacri.org?
The Providence Performing Arts Center and The VETS (ppacri.org and thevetsri.com) are the only official ticket providers for The VETS.
Can I print or screenshot my mobile tickets?
No. Mobile tickets cannot be printed or screenshot. Only mobile tickets accessed directly from a confirmation email or My Account page are valid for entry.
When should I download my ticket?
Tickets should be downloaded as soon as possible and at least 24 hours before arriving at the theatre. Please retain your confirmation email until you have entered the building in case tickets need to be accessed or verified by The VETS staff. You can access your tickets again from the My Account ticket page here.
Can I have multiple tickets on a single phone?
Yes, you can swipe through your available tickets (using your digital/smartphone wallet) at the venue if the entire party is present.
Does my entire party need to be present to enter?
Unless each member of your party has their own ticket. Parties with multiple tickets on a single device should wait to enter together. The VETS house staff will be happy to assist you while you wait for your party to arrive.
What is my phone breaks, dies, is lost, or stolen before I arrive?
The VETS on-site box office will be happy to assist you. Simply visit the box office window upon arrival.
